I’d come again

At arrival, we learned that very few expectations were being met. Cheap Caribbean had insisted our group of 14 could be in the same building. This did not happen. I had never stayed at an Iberostar. We received only two specialty restaurant reservations and the first available booking was 5 days after arrival, even though the restaurants were empty most nights. The Mexican restaurant stunk. The steakhouse was very good. The rooms are cute huts. The pools are excellent. The beach is right beside the pool. We really liked the quaint vi e of the place. Buffets are good, although breakfast is the best. Pool bar is excellent. Oscar from Amstar is amazing!! The excursions were fantastic! Overall, I would definitely come back.

Very relaxing

This was my first vacation out of the country and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing. There was so many options. There was 3 full buffets. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also a snack bar down by the beach. There was something for even the pickiest eater. The only bummer was you couldn’t walk right into the ocean. There was sharp coral. I’m glad they had the pier to go off. I loved the animals. There is iguanas, pelicans, parrots and cats. We paid for the upgraded poolside room. I would definitely recommend that. The view alone was worth it. We really enjoyed the kayaks and snorkel equipment. The beds weren’t super comfortable but they were ok. I slept pretty good. I will definitely be back!

Just lovely

We had a lovely time at Iberostar Cozumel and will look into other Iberostar properties. Iberostar had all the amenities and options of a mega resort but the small bungalows fit in discreetly with the surrounding environment. It felt so lush and natural. We loved seeing all the wildlife. Our room (a double sized suite) was spacious and the bathroom was large. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fire show on Wednesday was so fun to watch! The steak restaurant was very good, pass on the Tex Mex place.
